Schluter®-DITRA
Specifically designed for ceramic and stone tile installations, Schluter®-DITRA is an uncoupling and waterproofing membrane that sits between the floor structure and tile to prevent movement and moisture in the ground from transferring through to the tiles above.
DITRA also provides adequate support and heavy load distribution to finished tile coverings, ensuring that the finished result lasts a lifetime. The polyethylene membrane has a nominal thickness of 1/8” which reduces the tile assembly thickness and reduces the transition to lower surface coverings.
KERDI-SHOWER-KIT
Ceramic and stone tiles are durable, easy to maintain, hygienic, and are the ideal surface covering for wet areas, including showers and bathtub surrounds. Tiles, however, are not waterproof, and must be installed in conjunction with a waterproofing system that effectively manages moisture and prevents mold growth.
The KERDI-SHOWER-KIT is an all-inclusive package containing each of the integrated family of components required to create a maintenance-free, watertight shower assembly without a mortar bed.
Schluter® Profiles
While tiles are beautiful and easy to maintain, they are also inherently brittle—exposed edges can chip and crack if left unprotected. Schluter® profiles finish and protect tile edges from damage, are maintenance-free, and offer a more sustainable and stylish alternative to caulking in a variety of applications.
Incorporate profiles into floor-to-wall transitions, between even and uneven surfaces, on top of stair risers, and on walls and countertops. DITRA-HEAT
DITRA-HEAT is the only electric floor warming system that directly incorporates uncoupling technology to ensure that floors aren’t susceptible to cracked tiles and grout. Cables can be placed wherever heat is desired for customized heating zones, and no leveling compounds are required, which makes for a quick and easy installation.
DITRA-HEAT is a polypropylene membrane with a cut-back stud structure and an anchoring fleece laminated to the underside. The system provides electric floor warming to create comfortable tiled floors, in addition to uncoupling, waterproofing, vapor management, and support to ensure a long-lasting installation.
Thin-set: Now You’re ALL-SET
Schluter®-Systems has developed three new thin-set mortars: Schluter SET™ unmodified, Schluter ALL-SET™ modified, and Schluter FAST-SET™ rapid-setting.
The Schluter ALL-SET is engineered for use both under and over all DITRA® and KERDI® products. The Schluter FAST-SET is ready to grout in four hours for fast-track projects. All three products, including the Schluter SET are approved to set porcelain tile over Schluter membranes and boards. Thin-set is made at our new state of the art facility here in North America, and when used with applicable Schluter products, you get guaranteed product compatibility backed by a lifetime warranty.
